Shipping policy

1. General Provisions
All shipments from The Forager’s Daughter (“the Store”) are subject to the terms herein. By placing an order, the customer (“the Customer”) acknowledges and agrees to be bound by these provisions.

2. Shipping Methods and Charges
The Forager’s Daughter employs various shipping carriers to facilitate delivery. Shipping charges are calculated at checkout and are non-refundable once paid, regardless of the order’s outcome.

Exclusions: At this time, I’m unable to ship to EU countries due to new import regulations (GPSR). I'm so sorry that I'm not able to fulfill those orders at the moment, but I hope to open that option back up in the future and will share any updates via my website, social media, and newsletters. 

3. Delivery Timeframes/Tracking/Import Fees
Orders are processed and shipped within five to seven business days. Estimated delivery timeframes are approximations and do not constitute guaranteed delivery dates. The Forager’s Daughter shall not be liable for delays resulting from unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to natural disasters, carrier delays, or any events outside the shop’s control. Tracking is provided, it is The Customer’s responsibility to monitor the progress of their order and pay any additional customs fees or import duties, or arrange pick-up times from their local postal carrier. The Customer assumes all risks associated with the delivery process.

All international customs/import fees/duties are the responsibility of the customer. No VAT or customs fees will be collected or remitted by the Forager's Daughter. 

4. Risk of Loss
Upon the Store’s transfer of the package to the carrier, the risk of loss or damage to the merchandise will shift to the Customer. The Customer assumes full responsibility for any claims related to lost, stolen, or damaged items during transit.

5. Address Accuracy
The Customer is responsible for providing accurate and complete shipping information. The Store shall not be liable for any delays, non-delivery, or additional charges arising from incorrect or incomplete addresses provided by the Customer. The Customer is advised to review all shipping details prior to finalizing the order.

6. Return and Refund Policy
Returns are accepted within 14 days of purchase. Any return requests must comply with the Store's Return Policy, and any shipping costs associated with returns shall be borne solely by the Customer. Please see our Return and Refund Policy section for more information.

7. Indemnification
The Customer agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless The Forager’s Daughter, its owners, employees, and affiliates from any and all claims, damages, losses, or liabilities arising out of or related to the Customer's order, shipping choices, or failure to adhere to these terms.

8. Amendments
The Store reserves the right to amend this Shipping Policy at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the Store constitutes acceptance of any such changes.

9. Governing Law
This Shipping Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ohio/The United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
