Continuing with the Wheel of Fortune
Returning Doesn’t Mean Starting Over
We often treat inconsistency as evidence that we failed. We decide we’ll pull a card every morning, get up early and meditate or exercise…and then life happens. Once we’ve missed enough days of consistent practice, there’s a point where returning feels harder because it feels like we have to start over, that all the work we did before is now moot.
When the Wheel of Fortune turns, it comes back to familiar points again and again. But it never returns under exactly the same circumstances as before. Things change, we grow, the environment transforms. We gain experience and wisdom that we can apply to current situations that may feel familiar.
Instead of feeling frustrated or stuck, we can say, “Here I am again. What’s different this time?”
As we continue to rebalance this month, think about something you’ve drifted away from that you’d like to welcome back into your life. Tap into that feeling of something you’ve been missing, even if you aren’t sure what it is just yet. Let this three-card spread help you reflect on what you’re ready to reconnect with.
